Primarily based on the ultimate values of Myanmar Imperial College, Myanmar Imperial Research Association (MIRA) was established by Myanmar Imperial College in January, 2018 and the Association aims to reinforce the research practice and development of our country’s academic society and business industries, strengthening cooperation and exchanges among researchers from different study fields.

Mr. Phyo Maung Maung, a young passionate business entrepreneur, is greatly dedicated and driven in setting the great heights and standards of the Higher Education Industry as well as to promote societal contribution in Myanmar. With his great passion, he had established the very first private leading College in Myanmar, Myanmar Imperial College in the year 2006 with the initial startup capital of US$2,000. He had with graduated BA(Hons) Multimedia Arts from Middlesex University UK and completed his Master of Business Administration which is awarded from the University of Northampton.
As a huge sports enthusiast along with his great passion and commitment to upgrade Myanmar Futsal to highest possible level across Asia, he had founded MIC Futsal Club in the year 2009. MIC Futsal Club is presently ranked No.1 ranking across Myanmar and throughout the 11-year heritage of the establishment, MIC Futsal Club had achieved major championship titles, triumphs and Fair Play Awards across both local and international tournaments throughout the year 2009-2020.
Mr. Phyo Maung Maung is not only renowned as one of the most aspiring entrepreneur and figureheads in Myanmar, but also an individual who greatly emphasizes upon youth empowerment and development, supporting their brightest dreams and success to come true as well as an individual who is seeking to positively contribute to the society and the country.

Following her passion and ambition of creating positive landmark in Myanmar’s Higher Education, Mrs. Poht Poht Kyi had founded Myanmar Imperial College, the very first private leading College in Myanmar, in the year 2006 with the initial capital investment of US$2,000 at her age of 18. Her heartily passion on academic and leadership development is visible throughout her activities and ventures of contributing her invaluable knowledge and experiences to our students, our youths, and our society in Myanmar.
Furthermore, Mrs. Poht Poht Kyi had been honorably nominated as one of the 5 finalists for ‘Women of the Future’ Award in South East Asia 2019 by the ‘University of Oxford’ which is renowned and acknowledged as one of the top universities across the world. This illustrious achievement serves as a highly inspirational presence and landmark of the country, academic industry, society and the youths.
